    Item Description:

The Global Fund to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria (“the Global Fund”) was created to dramatically increase resources to fight three of the world’s most devastating diseases (AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria), and to direct those resources to areas of greatest need. As a partnership between governments, civil society, the private sector and affected communities, the Global Fund represents an innovative approach to international health financing.

The Global Fund works in close collaboration with other bilateral and multilateral organizations to supplement existing efforts dealing with the three diseases. The Global Fund achieves its objectives by raising funds from donors (governments and private) which are then provided as grants funds to suitable Principal Recipients (generally governments, civil society organizations, private sector etc.) for the implementation of activities (procurement of live-saving drugs and other supporting interventions) to reduce the burden of the three diseases. The Global Fund disburses annually USD 4 billion a year in grants to about 140 countries. The Global Fund then tracks the flow of funds from these grants down to the individual payment level. It also circulates reports regarding its funding activities, program performance and impact to relevant stakeholders.

    Scope/ Objective

The Global Fund organizes approximately 20 events per year in Geneva, Switzerland (estimate based on 2019 meetings). Most of the meetings are generally held over a period of one to two days with a few lasting for approximately one week. The purpose of this Request for Proposal (RFP) is to identify Supplier (s) that can provide these services on an as needed basis.

The second element on this RFP is to source the supplier that will manage the migration and the support of the Voice Cloud services for the Global Fund, including the support of the Voice solution for the Global Health campus meeting rooms. The chosen supplier shall manage the migration from Skype for Business to Microsoft Teams for around 1’300 users.

The Global Fund is seeking experienced Suppliers to provide Audio Visual Services, including Audio Visual Technicians and Equipment Hire/purchase for various events in Switzerland, in particular Geneva and other locations either in Switzerland or occasionally in regions.

The successful suppliers shall oversee and conduct the onsite delivery, installation, operation and dismantling of Audio Visual Services, and the supply of Audio Visual Technicians, as may be required from time to time.

The Second section of this RFP is to source, migrate and manage the Voice platform from The Global Fund and Global Health Campus Shared services from Microsoft Skype for Business (on-premise) to Microsoft TEAMS and provide carrier based Voice services centrally managed on existing Microsoft Cloud Office 365 with Swiss based telecom operator licenses directly or through a direct partner.

    Scope of Work

The Audio Visual Services for Events and the Voice Cloud Communication and Support services will fall under the supervision of the Service Delivery Officer: Shared Services & Collaborative solutions.
