Item Description:
The Asian Development Bank (ADB) was conceived in the early 1960s as a financial institution that would be Asian in character and foster economic growth and cooperation in one of the poorest regions in the world.
ADB assists its members, and partners, by providing loans, technical assistance, grants, and equity investments to promote social and economic development.
Invitation for Bids
The Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka has applied for financing from the ADB toward the cost of Green Power Development and Energy Efficiency Improvement Investment Program – Tranche 1 (GPDEEIIP-T1). Part of this financing will be used for payments under the contract named above. Bidding is open to Bidders from eligible source countries of the ADB.
The Ceylon Electricity Board (CEB) (“the Employer”), invites sealed bids from eligible Bidders for the:
Augmentation of Transmission Lines in CEB Transmission Network Package 6: Supply and delivery of Towers, Stubs, Other Steel Accessories and Earthing Materials.
Delivery period is two (2) months for stubs and earthing materials and six (6) months for towers from opening of letter of credit.
International Competitive Bidding will be conducted in accordance with ADB’s Single-Stage: One-Envelope bidding procedure and is open to all bidders from eligible source countries as described in the Bidding Documents.
