The primary purpose of the survey is to assess key duty bearer’s [1] knowledge of child abuse and neglect and their roles and obligations to prevent and respond to it. This will also help duty bearers to apply a clear understanding of what constitutes abuse and neglect, the consequences on the children‘s well-being and their statutory obligations to protect children from all forms of violence, in their decision making roles.
