Construction and completion of the Honiara Water Supply Reservoirs

The Asian Development Bank (ADB) was conceived in the early 1960s as a financial institution that would be Asian in character and foster economic growth and cooperation in one of the poorest regions in the world.

ADB assists its members, and partners, by providing loans, technical assistance, grants, and equity investments to promote social and economic development.

The Solomon Islands Water Authority, trading as Solomon Water (“SW”) has received financing from the ADB toward the cost of the Solomon Islands – Urban Water Supply and Sanitation Sector Project. Part of this financing will be used for payments under the Contract named above. Bidding is open to Bidders from eligible source countries of ADB. This contract will be jointly funded by the World Bank (WB). The eligibility rules and procedures of ADB will govern the bidding process.

The Solomon Islands Water Authority, trading as Solomon Water (“SW”) (“the Employer”) invites sealed bids from eligible Bidders for the construction and completion of the Honiara Water Supply Reservoirs contract. The works include the construction, installation, testing and commissioning of three new water reservoirs and associated works (“the Works”).

Open competitive bidding – International advertisement will be conducted in accordance with ADB’s Single-Stage: One-Envelope (1S1E) bidding procedure and is open to all Bidders from eligible countries as described in the Bidding Documents.

Invitation for Bids
