The Asian Development Bank (ADB) was conceived in the early 1960s as a financial institution that would be Asian in character and foster economic growth and cooperation in one of the poorest regions in the world.
ADB assists its members, and partners, by providing loans, technical assistance, grants, and equity investments to promote social and economic development.
Invitation for Bids
The Solomon Island Water Authority, trading as Solomon Water (“SW”) has received financing from the ADB and World Bank (WB) toward the cost of SCADA System Expansion and Upgrade Implementation Contract. Part of this financing will be used for payments under the Contract named above. Bidding is open to Bidders from eligible source countries of ADB.
The Solomon Islands Water Authority, trading as Solomon Water (“SW”) (“the Employer”) invites sealed bids from eligible Bidders for the construction and completion of the SCADA System Expansion and Upgrade Implementation Contract (“the Works”).
Open competitive bidding (international) will be conducted in accordance with ADB’s Single-Stage: One-Envelope procedure and is open to all Bidders from eligible countries as described in the Bidding Document.
