Construction of New Water Supply Network

The Asian Development Bank (ADB) was conceived in the early 1960s as a financial institution that would be Asian in character and foster economic growth and cooperation in one of the poorest regions in the world.

ADB assists its members, and partners, by providing loans, technical assistance, grants, and equity investments to promote social and economic development.

The Social Republic of Vietnam has received financing from the Asian Development Bank (hereinafter called “ADB”) toward the cost of the Viet Nam Water Sector Investment Program (MFF) – Tranche 3 – Thai Nguyen Sub-project. Part of this financing will be used for payments under the contract package named above. Bidding is open to Bidders from eligible source countries of ADB.

The Thai Nguyen Water Joint Stock Company (“the Employer”) invites sealed bids from eligible Bidders for the material supply, construction and completion of a water supply network in Thai Nguyen city with the following key components: (i) 18.72 kms of DN200mm – DN800mm DI and HDPE transmission pipes; (ii) 30.91 kms of DN100mm – DN200mm of HDPE distribution pipes; (iii) 49.3 kms of D50-D63 HDPE service pipes; (iv) 5,713 house connections; (v) 35 fire hydrants.

International Competitive Bidding will be conducted in accordance with the ADB’s Single Stage – One Envelope bidding procedure and is open to all eligible Bidders as described in the Bidding Document.
