Design and Construction of Rabat, Chappasuy and Tamshush Hydropower plants

The Asian Development Bank (ADB) was conceived in the early 1960s as a financial institution that would be Asian in character and foster economic growth and cooperation in one of the poorest regions in the world.

ADB assists its members, and partners, by providing loans, technical assistance, grants, and equity investments to promote social and economic development.

The Government of Uzbekistan has received financing from the Asian Development Bank (ADB) toward the cost of Sustainable Hydropower Project. Part of this financing will be used for eligible payments under the contract named above. Bidding is open to Bidders from eligible source countries of ADB.

The Joint-Stock Company (JSC) Uzbekhydroenergo (“the Employer”) invites sealed bids from eligible Bidders for the Design and Construction of Rabat, Chappasuy and Tamshush Hydropower Plants (“the Facilities”) on the Aksu River in Kashkadarya Region, Uzbekistan.

Open Competitive Bidding (International Advertisement) will be conducted in accordance with ADB’s Single-Stage: Two-Envelope procedure and is open to all Bidders from eligible countries as described in the Bidding Document.
