Item Description:

The United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) was created by the United Nations General Assembly on 11 December 1946, to provide emergency food and healthcare to children in countries that had been devastated by World War II. In 1950, UNICEF’s mandate was extended to address the long-term needs of children and women in developing countries everywhere. In 1953 it became a permanent part of the United Nations System, and the words “international” and “emergency” were dropped from the organization’s name, making it simply the United Nations Children’s Fund, retaining the original acronym, “UNICEF”.

For its efforts to enhance solidarity between nations and reduce the difference between rich and poor states, UNICEF was awarded the Nobel Peace Prize in 1965.

Request for proposal (RFP)

UNICEF Lebanon would like to tender for Direct Cash Disbursement to beneficiaries (Cash over the counter) in Lebanon as stipulated in the attached LRPS. Hence, I am writing to invite you for submitting your proposal to LRPS-2022-9172901.

You are kindly requested to quote your best price and submit your proposal by e-mail ONLY to: lebtender@unicef.org not later than 12:00h, 17 February 2022, otherwise it will be considered invalid.

Proposals should be sent by email ONLY to lebtender@unicef.org in two separate emails not later than 12:00h, 17 February 2022: one email for the technical proposal and one email for the financial proposal.

– Email for technical proposal:

Subject line of the email must indicate: LRPS number- name of your company- technical proposal. The email must include: The technical proposal only without prices.

– Email for price proposal:

Subject line of the email must indicate: LRPS number- name of your company- price proposal. The email must include: The price proposal.

Proposals sent in another manner will be invalid.

The reference LRPS-2022-9172901 must be shown in the e-mail’s subject.
