Distribution Pipelines in Liangying Town and Xiancheng Town

Item Description:

The People’s Republic of China has received a loan from the Asian Development Bank (ADB) towards the cost of Guangdong Chaonan Water Resources Development and Protection Demonstration Project and it intends to apply part of the proceeds of this loan to payments under the Contract named above. Bidding is open to Bidders from eligible source countries of ADB.

The Chaonan Water Supply Company (“the Employer”) invites sealed bids from all eligible Bidders for the following:

The project is designed to lay pipelines with diameter of DN20mm ~ DN1200mm. By new laying or transformation of distribution pipelines, tap water will be delivered to administrative villages and natural villages, or connecting to current available pipes in the villages, and then supplied to consumers by laying pipes along village roads and laneways. The water supply covers 30 administrative villages in Liangying Town and 18 administrative villages in Xiancheng Town, realizing connection of main water supply pipes between Chensha Road and west section of Zhonggang River, which includes laying of buried pipeline (including crossing road), laying of cross-river pipes, demolition and rehabilitation of concrete road surface, construction of ancillary facilities, etc.

The Intended Completion Date for the whole of the Works shall be twelve (12) months after the date of issuing the starting order of the project supervision company.

National competitive bidding will be conducted in accordance with ADB’s Single-Stage: One-Envelope bidding procedure and is open to all bidders from eligible countries as described in the Bidding Document.
