Framework contracts for New Normal Furniture Concept EPO sites Munich, The Hague, Berlin and Vienna

Item Description:

The European Patent Organisation is an intergovernmental organisation that was set up on 7 October 1977 on the basis of the European Patent Convention (EPC) signed in Munich in 1973. It has two bodies, the European Patent Office and the Administrative Council.

The European Patent Office, the executive arm of the European Patent Organisation, offers inventors a uniform application procedure which enables them to seek patent protection in up to 44 countries. The Office is supervised by the Administrative Council.

Objective of this tender

Within the European Patent Office a new working concept has been formulated and may be (partially) implemented in the near future at all places of employment (Munich (DE), The Hague (NL), Berlin (DE), Vienna (AT)). The new working concept is based on focus, flexibility, collaboration and comfort. Workplaces will be designed as points for focus & concentration, knowledge sharing, learning, social interaction.

To facilitate this new working concept the EPO may want to purchase various items of furniture including accessories in addition to current furniture already in place.
