Item Description:

The Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) is urgently seeking offers from companies who are able to supply one (1) fixed-wing aircraft and all related logistics support to carry out emergency aerial desert locust control (spraying) operations in Kenya, on a pay-per-use arrangement. The offered Aircraft should be positioned and ready to commence with the services requested at the designated operational bases in Kenya, originally within 2 weeks of contract award and within 24 to 72 hours thereafter from receipt of written notice issued by FAO, for a minimum period of two (2) months and with possible extensions up to 30 June 2022.
