Item Description:

The Asian Development Bank (ADB) was conceived in the early 1960s as a financial institution that would be Asian in character and foster economic growth and cooperation in one of the poorest regions in the world.

ADB assists its members, and partners, by providing loans, technical assistance, grants, and equity investments to promote social and economic development.

The Government of Bangladesh has applied for financing from the ADB toward the cost of Narayanganj Green and Resilient Urban Development Project (56139-001). Part of this financing will be used for payments under the Contract named above. Bidding is open to Bidders from eligible source countries of ADB.

The Narayanganj City Corporation (NCC) (“the Employer”) invites sealed bids from eligible Bidders for the construction and completion of “Installation of new Transmission Pipeline for DMZ 1, 2, & 3 along with Distribution Networks for DMZ 1 & 2, and rehabilitation of existing Godenail Water Treatment Plant (WTP) & Production Tube Wells (PTWs) with O&M” (“the Works”).

Open competitive bidding – International advertisement will be conducted in accordance with ADB’s Single-Stage: Two-Envelope bidding procedure and is open to all Bidders from eligible countries as described in the Bidding Document.
