Long-term contract (3yr. + 1 +1) for purchase of Perforating Machines to be used for United Nations Headquarters and Field Missions and Offices

Item Description:

1. General: The United Nations Procurement Division would like to establish a contract agreement with a vendor for the provision of perforator machines, when required, for the United Nations (UN) Headquarters and UN worldwide field missions. The contract shall be in effect for an initial term of three (3) years, with the option to extend for an additional two (2) periods of up to one (1) year each. 2. Perforator Technical Requirements: A) Must be able to permanently perforate marks in a single operation and through a minimum stack of 20 pages/leafs; B) Must have a minimum capacity of making perforation marks consisting of numbers (0-9) as well as the English alphabet (A-Z); C) Must be able to perforate in the following sequence: two digit day (DD), two digit month (MM) and two digit year (YY), then SPACE, followed by ten (10) digit numbers (0-9) or ten (10) alphabetic letters or ten (10 combined numbers and letters. For Example: DDMMYY 1234567890, or DDMMYY ABCDEFGHIJ, or DDMMYY 1A2B3CD45E; D) Must be supplied with both a foot petal operation and a hand operation button; E) Must be able to operate in 110V/120V or 220V/240V systems with built-in voltage regulators to safeguard against fluctuations; 3. Delivery Details: F) When required, perforators should be available for delivery to any of the following locations: a. United Nations Headquarters, located in New York, NY, United States of America b. United Nations Field Missions and global offices, listed below. c. Any other location with UN presence determined to require a perforator machine(s). Shipping requirements to new locations shall be determined when/if delivery is required. G) All shipping requirements for perforators outside of New York, NY will be handled on an individual basis. H) Delivery should be completed no later than 6 weeks after receipt of order. 4. Warranty & Service Details: I) The perforator must be accompanied by at least a one-year warranty for both parts and labor.
