Supply and Delivery of Heavy-Duty Boom Gate

The United Nations Global Service Centre (UNGSC) in Brindisi, Italy has a requirement to establish a long- term contract for the supply and delivery of Heavy-Duty Boom Gate.

The contract will have an initial duration of one (1) year, with the option to be extended for two (2) periods of one (1) year each, up to a maximum contract period of three (3) years.

The Heavy-Duty Boom Gate shall be designed as first line security installation against forced entry/vehicle impact within the UN compounds and camps, in line with the following main requirements:

• Sound and functional in a heavy-use and high-traffic environment;
• Crash-resistant based;
• Must allow for easy installation and removal by unskilled personnel, minimizing the use of heavy tools/equipment;
• Water and UV resistant finishing material, with easy cleaning and maintenance;
• Suitable for rapid installation on temporary roadways, parking walkways/areas on any site and on different types of soil.

Warranty Period: minimum two (2) year warranty from the date of acceptance by the UNGSC.

Delivery Terms: Delivery at Place – DAP UNGSC, Brindisi, Italy and Free Carrier – FCA named place identified by the Vendor.
