Item Description:
The Asian Development Bank (ADB) was conceived in the early 1960s as a financial institution that would be Asian in character and foster economic growth and cooperation in one of the poorest regions in the world.
ADB assists its members, and partners, by providing loans, technical assistance, grants, and equity investments to promote social and economic development.
Invitation for Bids
The Government of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh has received financing from the ADB towards the cost of Second City Region Development Project, and part of the proceeds of this financing will be used for payments under the contract for which this Invitation for Bid (IFB) is issued. Bidding is open to all bidders from eligible source countries of the ADB.
The Local Government Engineering Department (“the Purchaser”) invites sealed bids from eligible Bidders for the procurement of the following Goods (“the Goods”): Procurement of 3 Wheel Static Road Roller, Soil Compactor, Wheel Loader and Dump Truck.
International Competitive Bidding (ICB) will be conducted in accordance with ADB’s Single-Stage: One-Envelope bidding procedure and is open to all Bidders from eligible countries as described in the Bidding Documents.
