Procurement of 5000 2D barcode readers

Item Description:

The World Health Organization Regional Office for the Eastern Mediterranean (WHO/EMRO) seeks offers for the Purchase of 5000 2D barcode readers in Lebanon.

QUERIES: A prospective bidder requiring any clarification on may submit his questions via UNGM “Correspondence” tab no later than 7th of October 2022, 23:00 hours, Lebanon time.

CLOSING DATE: Offers must be uploaded via UNGM, “Tender Documents” tab no later than [12h of October 2022] at [23:00] hours, Lebanon time

SUBMISSION OF OFFERS:

• The Technical proposal must be submitted using the Technical proposal sheet (Annex 1).
• Financial Offers must be submitted in the attached (Annex2) as an excel sheet and in PDF format.
• Offers are accepted in US Dollars, or any other United Nations convertible currency will be acceptable
• Offers must comply with the requirements stated in the attached Invitation to Bid (ITB). All requirements should be completed as per the annexes.
• If interested, you are kindly requested to register through United Nations Global Marketplace (UNGM) by logging-in to this site: https://www.ungm.org. After having an active account, continue following the guidance, until you express your interest to this bid. Then, you will be transferred to WHO’s e-tendering system to be able to collect the bidding documents and access your tender opportunities.

SELECTION/REJECTION CRITERIA

1. Supplier to provide a sample of 2D barcode scanner to World Health Organization Representative. Office in Beirut, Museum Square, Glass Bldg., 4th floor.
2. Price should include the stand for the scanners and programming.
3. Delivery on site for around 3,412 pharmacies in all Lebanon as per the Kadaa listed in Annex B (Details related to the Name of the pharmacies, Address will be shared on a later stage).
4. The supplier should connect the barcode scanner to the PC and be sure it is functioning.
5. Upon delivery, the pharmacist should sign a paper confirming the receipt and functionality of the scanner.
6. Programing the Scanner to read GS1 standard.
7. Scanners should be provided with stand.
8. Packaging: WHO will provide the supplier with “WHO & Donor” label that should be sticked on the barcode reader machine and the box while distributing.
9. Catalogues and technical specs of the items should be in line with the requirement.
10. Delivery period should not exceed two to three months.
11. Warranty period should be minimum requirement of 1 year.
12. Supplier shall provide a sample to assess its functioning.
