Procurement of Domestic Water Meters

The Asian Development Bank (ADB) was conceived in the early 1960s as a financial institution that would be Asian in character and foster economic growth and cooperation in one of the poorest regions in the world.

Invitation for Bids

The Government of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh (the “Borrower”) has received financing from the ADB toward the cost of Dhaka Environmentally Sustainable Water Supply Project-Additional Financing (DESWSP-AF). Part of this financing will be used for payments under the Contract named above. Bidding is open to Bidders from eligible source countries of ADB. This contract will be jointly financed by the Government of Bangladesh (GoB). The eligibility rules and procedures of the ADB will govern the bidding process.

The Dhaka Water Supply and Sewerage Authority (DWASA), Bangladesh invites sealed bids from the eligible Bidders for Procurement of 20-, 25-, 40- and 50-mm domestic water meters (4000,15000,1000,207 nos. respectively & thus total of 20,207 nos.) under Dhaka Environmentally Sustainable Water Supply Project (DESWSP):

Open Competitive Bidding (International advertisement) will be conducted in accordance with ADB’s Single-Stage: Two-Envelope Bidding Procedure and is open to all Bidders from eligible source countries of ADB as described in the Bidding Documents.
