Procurement of Emergency Medical Supplies

The Asian Development Bank (ADB) was conceived in the early 1960s as a financial institution that would be Asian in character and foster economic growth and cooperation in one of the poorest regions in the world.

ADB assists its members, and partners, by providing loans, technical assistance, grants, and equity investments to promote social and economic development.

The People’s Republic of Bangladesh has received a loan from the Asian Development Bank (ADB) toward the cost of COVID-19 Response Emergency Assistance Project, and it intends to apply part of the proceeds of this loan for payments under the contract named above. This contract will be jointly financed by ADB and the People’s Republic of Bangladesh. The eligibility rules and procedures of the ADB will govern the bidding process.

The Directorate General of Health Service (DGHS, the “Purchaser”) invites quotations from eligible bidders/suppliers for the Procurement of Emergency Medical Supplies (the “Goods”) under the project. Goods are to be delivered to designated place mentioned in the Request for Quotation (RFQ) document summarized below. Bidders/suppliers may participate in one, or both the contracts (Lots).
