The Asian Development Bank (ADB) was conceived in the early 1960s as a financial institution that would be Asian in character and foster economic growth and cooperation in one of the poorest regions in the world.
ADB assists its members, and partners, by providing loans, technical assistance, grants, and equity investments to promote social and economic development.
The People’s Republic of China has received a loan from the Asian Development Bank (ADB) toward the cost of the Shanxi Urban-Rural Water Source Protection and Environmental Demonstration Project, and it intends to apply part of the proceeds of this loan to payments under the contract for Procurement of Equipment and Installation for Water Supply Pipelines (South Line and West Line), West Original Pumping Station and Majiaguai and Wulihou Pumping Stations (Contract No.: ZQ- G3).
The China Capital Tendering Co., Ltd. (the “Procurement Agent”) authorized by Zuoquan Water Resource Bureau (the Purchaser), now invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for the Procurement of Equipment and Installation for Water Supply Pipelines (South Line and West Line), West Original Pumping Station and Majiaguai and Wulihou Pumping Stations. The completion period is nine (9) months after the effective date of the contract.
International competitive bidding will be conducted in accordance with ADB’s Single- Stage: One-Envelope bidding procedure and is open to all Bidders from eligible source countries.
