Item Description:
The World Health Organization (WHO) was established in 1948 as a specialized agency of the United Nations. The objective of WHO (www.who.int) is the attainment by all peoples of the highest possible level of health. “Health”, as defined in the WHO Constitution, is a state of complete physical, mental and social well being and not merely the absence of disease or infirmity. WHO’s main function is to act as the directing and coordinating authority on international health work.
The WHO Secretariat consists of some 8,400 staff at the Organization’s headquarters in Geneva, in the six regional offices and in countries. The Secretariat is headed by the Director-General, who is appointed by the WHA on the nomination of the Executive Board. The head of each regional office is a Regional Director. Regional directors are appointed by the Executive Board in agreement with the relevant regional committee.
Invitation to bid (ITB)
You are invited to submit your offer for the Emergency procurement of ICT Equipment for the WHO, Egypt. Please note that this ITB will be submitted through the In- tend/UNGM portal.
- Closing Date: Offers should be submitted latest by 23:00 (Cairo Local Time) on 08 August 2022.
- Submission of Offers: Incoterms 2020: FCA/nearest airport or port for international suppliers and on DAP bases for local ones. Offers should be submitted in Pdf and Excel format on the company’s headed paper, signed and stamped.
Please fill in all information in Annex 2. Please refer to the technical requirements for ICT Equipment document on the In tend portal. Please submit warranty of each item with your offer.
- Selection criteria 20% for delivery time. 80% for price.
- Exclusion Criteria: Below products will be excluded:
- Offers that are not submitted through UNGM/Intend before the specified deadline, will not be considered.
- Only offers providing the requested specifications may not be considered.
- Offers with delivery more than 6 weeks may not be considered. In case of award, the suppliers should provide: Ø Certificate of origin. Ø Warranty. Ø Shipping documents, packing list & original invoice. (for international suppliers)
The supplier should accept, sign and comply to the following attached documents:
- UN Code of Conduct.
- Self-Declaration Form. Orders resulting from this Invitation to Bid will fall under WHO’s General Terms and Conditions as per Annex 3 in the ITB document.
Please be advised that Annex 1 is not applicable in this ITB. The supplier should accept, sign and comply with Annex 5 and Annex 6
