Item Description:
The Asian Development Bank (ADB) was conceived in the early 1960s as a financial institution that would be Asian in character and foster economic growth and cooperation in one of the poorest regions in the world.
ADB assists its members, and partners, by providing loans, technical assistance, grants, and equity investments to promote social and economic development.
Invitation for Bids
The Lao People’s Democratic Republic has received a financing from the ADB toward the cost of Second Strengthening Higher Education Project and intends to apply part of the proceeds of this loan to payments under the contract named above. Bidding is open to Bidders from eligible source countries of ADB.
The Ministry of Education and Sports, Department of Higher Education (“the Employer”) invites sealed bids from eligible Bidders for the procurement of IT equipment for SKU (excluding building services and infrastructure) to be delivered at Savannakhet University New Campus within 30 – 60 days following effectiveness of the contract.
National Competitive Bidding will be conducted in accordance with ADB’s Single- Stage: One-Envelope bidding procedure and is open to all Bidders from eligible source countries of ADB as described in the Bidding Documents.
