Item Description:

The United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) was created by the United Nations General Assembly on 11 December 1946, to provide emergency food and healthcare to children in countries that had been devastated by World War II. In 1950, UNICEF’s mandate was extended to address the long-term needs of children and women in developing countries everywhere. In 1953 it became a permanent part of the United Nations System, and the words “international” and “emergency” were dropped from the organization’s name, making it simply the United Nations Children’s Fund, retaining the original acronym, “UNICEF”.

Invitation to Bid

Please find attached the bid document no. LITB-2019-9153033  for procurement of IT Equipment for UNICEF Myanmar.  It will be appreciated if you could provide your quotation for the items to UNICEF Myanmar Office no later than 10.00 a.m. on 12 November 2019.

The bid document should be sent to UNICEF Myanmar Office either by courier service or by email to procurementyangon@unicef.org.  Bid document sent by any other e-mail will be considered as invalid.

• Provide the picture and brochure of each item together with your bid document, failing which your bid may be invalid.
