Item Description:
The World Health Organization (WHO) was established in 1948 as a specialized agency of the United Nations. The objective of WHO (www.who.int) is the attainment by all peoples of the highest possible level of health. “Health”, as defined in the WHO Constitution, is a state of complete physical, mental and social well being and not merely the absence of disease or infirmity. WHO’s main function is to act as the directing and coordinating authority on international health work.
The Western Pacific Regional Office (WPRO) is one of the six regions of the World Health Organization. Headquartered in Manila, Philippines, we work with health authorities and other partners in 37 countries and areas with more than one quarter of the world’s population.
Request for quotation (RFQ)
The WHO is seeking offers for Rapid mini-reader incubators for readying biological incubator vials; biological indicators/spore tests for steam; biological indicators/spore tests for H2O2; and hand-held temperature and humidity monitors. Your organization/company is invited to submit a proposal for the goods listed below in response to this Request for Quotation (RFQ).
- Your offer should comply with the Specifications described below.
- Variations from initial specifications must be precisely indicated.
- Please read carefully and comply with all points, otherwise your offer may be disqualified.
Proposal
Your quotation should contain and state:
- Acceptance of WHO General Purchasing Conditions (attached)
- Self-Declaration Form (attached)
- Net prices valid for a minimum of [three months] from the date of offer
- Delivery time from receipt of Purchase Order, gross weight (in kgs) and volume (in cbm)
- Unit cost(s), indicating the United Nations convertible currency1 used (preferably US Dollars).
- Country of Origin
The proposal shall be submitted to WHO in writing no later than [18 January 2023] at 23:59 hours Manila time (“the closing date”), wproungm@who.int at the Contact address.
Each proposal shall be marked Ref: WPRO_MCA_2023_001 and be signed by a person or persons duly authorized to represent the bidder, to submit a proposal and to bind the bidder to the terms of this RFQ.
