The Asian Development Bank (ADB) was conceived in the early 1960s as a financial institution that would be Asian in character and foster economic growth and cooperation in one of the poorest regions in the world.
ADB assists its members, and partners, by providing loans, technical assistance, grants, and equity investments to promote social and economic development.
Invitation for Bids
The Islamic Republic of Pakistan has applied for financing from the Asian Development Bank (ADB) toward the cost of Second Power Transmission Enhancement Investment Program – Tranche 4. Part of this financing will be used for payments under the contract named above. Bidding is open to the Bidders from eligible source countries of ADB.
The National Transmission and Despatch Company (NTDC, “the Employer”) invites sealed bids from eligible Bidders for the “Procurement of Plant – Design, Manufacture, Supply, Installation, Testing & Commissioning of 220kV Double Circuit Transmission Line for Looping In/Out one Circuit of Mirpur Khas – T.M Khan Road Transmission Line at Hala Road 220kV Grid Station (Approx. 20km).”
The works mainly include design, manufacturing, delivery, installation, testing, commissioning, and completion of works and services on turnkey basis, as detailed and specified in the Bidding Document. The Time for Completion of the whole of the Facilities shall be 24 months from the Effective Date as described in the Contract Agreement.
Open Competitive Bidding (International) will be conducted in accordance with ADB’s Single-Stage: Single-Envelope bidding procedure and is open to the Bidders from eligible source countries of ADB.
