Item Description:

The United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) was created by the United Nations General Assembly on 11 December 1946, to provide emergency food and healthcare to children in countries that had been devastated by World War II. In 1950, UNICEF’s mandate was extended to address the long-term needs of children and women in developing countries everywhere. In 1953 it became a permanent part of the United Nations System, and the words “international” and “emergency” were dropped from the organization’s name, making it simply the United Nations Children’s Fund, retaining the original acronym, “UNICEF”.

For its efforts to enhance solidarity between nations and reduce the difference between rich and poor states, UNICEF was awarded the Nobel Peace Prize in 1965.

UNICEF requests bids for the Procurement of SMIS Server and Accessories for Data Centre (Only Local Supplier who have Registration in Myanmar).

Bidders are requested to submit the proposals electronically clearly named as “Agency Name -LITB-2021- 9164590 -Procurement of SMIS Server and Accessories for Data Centre”
Bid form and schedule(s) must be used when replying to this invitation. You are welcome to enclose your specifications etc., if necessary.

Offers must be received at the above E-mail by latest 3:00 p.m. hours (Myanmar Local
Time) on 19 February 2021. Bids received after the stipulated date and time will be
invalidated.

UNICEF’s requirements and can submit an offer in compliance with them. Note that failure to provide compliant offers may result in invalidation of your bid.
