Procurement of Works for the Pedestrianization around the BRT stations

The Lao People’s Democratic Republic has received financing from the Asian Development Bank toward the cost of the Vientiane Sustainable Urban Transport Project (VSUTP) and intends to apply part of the proceeds toward payments under the contract named above. Bidding is open to Bidders from eligible source countries of ADB.

The Department of Transport (DOT) of the Ministry of Public Work and Transport, (MPWT) Lao PDR (the “Employer”) invites sealed bids from eligible Bidders for the Procurement of Works – Pedestrianization around the BRT stations in Vientiane (the “Works”). Details and specifications are provided in the specified in Section 6 (Schedule of Supply) of the Bidding Documents. The completion period is within twelve (12) months after award of contract. The Bid is for ONE complete Lot and for the associated works.

International Competitive Bidding will be conducted in accordance with ADB’s Single- Stage: One-Envelope bidding procedure and is open to all Bidders from eligible countries as described in the Bidding Document.
