Provision of Construction Materials and Related Professional Tools and Accessories at The United Nations Global Service Centre (UNGSC), Brindisi – Italy

The United Nations Global Service Centre (UNGSC) in Brindisi requires a long-term contract for the provision of construction materials and related professional tools and accessories on an “as and when required basis”.

It shall be established for an initial three years with the possibility to extend it for two additional years of one year each (3+1+1).

In summary, the requirement shall include the following:

• Category 7  Textile Floorings with accessories
• Category 8  Exterior Finishing Materials such as insulated metal panels for roofs and walls
• Category 9  Special Hand Tools and Accessories for Masons
• Category 10  Standard Tufa Blocks
• Category 11  Traditional Limes
• Category 12  Aerated Autoclaved Concrete Bricks for partition walls for energy savings
• Category 13 Waterproofing Membranes and Protective Products
• Category 14  Concrete Manufactures such as lintels, beams, manholes, etc
• Category 15  Inerts such as Gravel, Crushed Stone, Sand, Stabilized Crushed Stone, etc
• Category 16 Terracotta Hollow Tiles
• Category 1 7 Ductile Cast Iron Manhole Tops
• Category 18 Bituminous Materials such as cold asphalt, etc
• Category 19 Ironmongery for Buildings such as safety net and lifesaver mushroom
• Category 20 Fencing, Gates and Sliding Gates
• Category 21 Modula Fencing for working sites and gates and signals for delimitation of working sites
• Category 22 Professional Adhesives for floors and bricks (high resistance laying)
• Category 23 Corrugated Double-Wall Pipe for electric and electronic cables
• Category 24 High-Performance Cement-Based Grout for Joints
• Category 25 Iron Products Special for Masonry such as Electrowelded Sheets, Iron Bars, etc
• Category 26 Masonry Powered Equipment such as saws, mixers, floor cleaning machines, etc
• Category 27 Plasterboard Drywall Accessories such as joining compounds, adhesives and sealants
• Category 28 Gypsum Plasterboards
• Category 29 Metal Profiles for special partitions ‘U’ guides and ‘C’ profiles
• Category 30 Ironmongeries and Fasteners for false ceilings and gypsum plasterboards
• Category 31 False Ceiling Panels

The Contractor(s) shall provide items in compliance with international standards, and ‘International Organization for Standardization’ (ISO) standards.

The Delivery Time shall not exceed 3 (three) weeks from the date of the Purchase Order. Partial deliveries are not accepted unless authorized in advance by the UNGSC representative. UNGSC will not pay extra costs for partial deliveries.

The Bidders may submit the technical bid for one or more categories.
