Provision of custom clearance services to UNAMA in Afghanistan

The United Nations Assistance Mission in Afghanistan (UNAMA) is seeking for qualified licensed potential vendors for the provision of customs clearance services for UNAMA’s incoming shipments to Afghanistan. The services will be on “As and when required basis”.

UNAMA does not guarantee that it would request from the contractor any minimum quantities of services, nor does UNAMA warrant or represent that it would request such services from the contractor on an exclusive basis. The vendor must be fully qualified, registered and licensed to operate a clearing agency business in Afghanistan with expertise and resources to provide the services effectively and efficiently.

UNAMA will issue to the contractor, from time to time during the term of contract and whenever UNAMA receives official shipments, service task orders requesting the contractor to carry out clearances services for UNAMA shipments.

Please note that this notice is issued only to allow companies to express their interest; it does not constitute a solicitation. Submitting an EOI does not automatically guarantee that a company will be considered for receipt of the tender. UNAMA reserves the right to change or cancel its requirement at any time.
