Provision of Engineering Services in Malawi

Item Description:

The United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) Malawi Country Office is engaged in a variety of construction activities. This includes, but is not limited to the provision of water and sanitation facilities, construction/rehabilitation of schools and health facilities, installation of solar systems, etc. Most of the construction activities are in remote rural areas of Malawi.

Within this context, UNICEF Malawi wish to develop a Long-Term Agreement (LTA) with Consultant Companies for a full range of services required for the planning and design the construction activities required as part of the country programme and operations.

UNICEF is therefore seeking expression of interest from Companies who are interested in undertaking such services and through the attached questionnaire establishing their capacities to undertake such services. Only Consultant Companies’ possessing a proven record of performance, with experienced manpower, financial resources and equipment are encouraged to apply.

This EOI does not constitute a solicitation. We do not require proposals and prices at this stage. Following the receipt of expressions of interest, a request for proposals may then be issued to all suitable candidates, requesting specific company and product details, and competitive price quotations.
