The International Bank for Reconstruction and Development (The World Bank) invites qualified and capable firms to submit technical and financial proposals for the provision of environmental testing services for the World Bank Group offices located in Washington, DC.
The selected Contractor shall perform the following tasks: proactive random testing and monitoring for air and water quality; chemical inventory verification; review and approve Safety Data Sheets (SDS) submittals for proposed used in WBG buildings, carry out safety training program for engineers; update of environmental health and safety SOP Manuals and provide advisory services.
Interested firms must comply with the following financial and general experience RFP mandatory requirements:
- The firm must demonstrate that it has been operating in a positive financial position (i.e. generated an operating profit in the last two (2) years, and has average gross annual revenue of more than $3,000,000 for each of the last three fiscal years
- The firm must have been in business for at least five (5) years providing services similar to those required, and must have a permanent office within the Washington D.C. Metropolitan Area.
The World Bank Group (WBG) will disclose or exchange certain proprietary and confidential information (marked “Official Use Only” or “Confidential” ) during the RFP process and desire that all recipients keep such information confidential, and use it only in connection with the purpose of responding to this RFP. To participate in this RFP process, all interested firms will be required to a signed Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) prior to releasing the solicitation. Parties will receive the NDA via email upon receipt of the required information, and will be subsequently required to return the signed NDA, prior to receiving the solicitation documentation.
