Provision of Grounds and Building Maintenance Services to UNMIK Premises

The United Nations Interim Administration Mission in Kosovo (UNMIK) has a requirement for the Provision of Ground & Building Maintenance Services to UNMIK Premises (MHQ Pristina, RHQ Mitrovica including Municipal Offices, Peja Office and Repeater Sites).

The Contractor will be responsible for repairing, replacing and maintaining of HVAC, electrical, plumbing (water supply and sewage) systems, gardening, pest control, relocation and rearrangement of offices, snow cleaning including all required materials (consumables), tools and supplies, specialized and other equipment and vehicles for the execution of the services in accordance with best commercial practice.

The total estimated area for the services required is:

Prishtina: Internal area: 14,803.85 m2; External area: 42,000.00 m2
Mitrovica: Internal area: 1,466.30 m2; External area: 3,120.00 m2
Peja: Internal area: 229.49 m2; External area: 385.00 m2

This Contract is intended to be issued for one (1) year, with the possibility to extend for another four (4) additional one year periods (1+1+1+1).

The Contractor shall be in possession of all relevant permits, amongst them but not limited to the “Business Registration Certificate and License” for provision of Ground & Building maintenance in Kosovo.

This Request for Expression of Interest (EOI) does not constitute a solicitation. UNMIK reserves the right to change or cancel the requirements at any time during EOI and/or solicitation process. Submission of a reply to this EOI does not automatically guarantee that such a firm will be considered for receipt of the solicitation when issued. Only Companies, deemed qualified upon completion of an objective evaluation of their submission of EOI, will receive the final tender solicitation document.
