Provision of Information and Communication Support for the EU Delegation in Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina

Item Description:

The Mission of the Directorate-General for Neighbourhood and Enlargement Negotiations (DG NEAR) is to take forward the EU’s neighbourhood and enlargement policies, as well as coordinating relations with EEA-EFTA countries insofar as Commission policies are concerned. DG NEAR works closely with the European External Action Service and the line DGs in charge of thematic priorities.

By implementing assistance actions in Europe’s eastern and southern neighbourhood, DG NEAR supports reform and democratic consolidation, and strengthens the prosperity, stability and security around Europe. DG NEAR helps to promote EU values, policies and interests in this region, and to contribute to developing the special relationship of the EU with its neighbouring countries.

Subject of this contract

The overall objective (Impact) to which this action contributes is:

• To provide objective, clear and accessible information to BiH citizens and to specific target groups on the EU, its policies and assistance programmes;
• To assist, support and advise the EU Office in BiH to conduct efficient communication and outreach activities, also using culture as a vector.

The specific objective (Outcome) of this contract is as follows:

• Efficient management of the EU Info Center (EUIC) in Sarajevo and EU Info Points (EUIPs) in Banja Luka, Brcko District and Mostar providing easy access to EU information to citizens
