Item Description:
The Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights (OHCHR), commonly known as UN Human Rights, began managing an organizational website (OHCHR.ORG) in 1997. Since then, the website has been updated and moved into the SharePoint 2013 publishing system, but the website publishing remains highly centralized with low volume throughput, and a navigational structure and underlying content layout that has not substantially evolved. The organization is now looking to more holistically redesign the website.
OHCHR now finds itself looking to harness the power of digital and modernize its web publishing infrastructure and website by December 2020. In addition to migrating to the Drupal content management platform, OHCHR will redesign the website to better support key audience groups and their needs, as well as decentralize some of the publishing process to allow staff members to self-publish content independent of the Web Team.
Key Outcomes and Deliverables:
- Build a new multilingual website with the Drupal content management system to current industry standards.
- Migrate a portion of the current site’s content to the new site (the vendor will need to migrate thousands of documents).
- Build a responsive site that is appropriate for OHCHR’s global audience.
- Develop new navigation based on the current high-level information architecture developed by OHCHR’s Content Strategist.
- Create dynamic and uniquely designed pages for a more streamlined, colorful, cleaner look.
- Install and configure Google analytics.
- Work with OHCHR and its training consultant to deploy and support adoption of the new publishing paradigm to OHCHR.
Eligible companies will be issued with solicitation documents detailing the terms of reference / scope of requirements including the technical and commercial evaluation criteria for selecting process.
