Provision of Layout and design in non-Latin languages and galley proofing of IFAD official- and non-official languages services

Item Description:

The International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD) is an international financial institution and a specialised agency of the United Nations dedicated to eradicating poverty and hunger in rural areas of developing countries.

Purpose of this tender

IFAD is issuing this invitation to tender in order to stipulate Long Term Agreements (LTA) with one or more companies (max. 5) providing design and layout in non-Latin languages, as well as galley proofing of communications materials and publications, in English, French, Spanish and non-Latin languages, in particular Arabic, “if and when required”. The LTA is on “non-exclusive” basis and IFAD will select the actual service delivery company and place a specific Work Order for the specific requirement based a competitive selection among the holders of the LTA.

The services required are divided in LOTs as follows:

• LOT 1. Design and layout of communications materials in non-Latin languages
• LOT 2. Galley proofing of laid out communications materials in all official IFAD languages, as well as non-official languages
