Provision of Modular Bridge Construction Services to MONUSCO at various locations in the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC)

a) Construction of substructures like abatements, wingwalls, piers, footings, including excavation and backfilling;

b) Assembly and installation of modular bridge superstructure (The bridge types are MABEY, ARMCO, BAILEY, etc) and

c) Construction of approach roads including sign posts

MONUSCO will undertake a competitive bidding exercise shortly and accordingly, intends to issue an invitation to a solicitation to those companies who would express their interest and provide initial relevant information demonstrating their ability to fulfill MONUSCO requirements. In addition, the interested companies will be requested to complete UN Vendor registration preferably for level 1 on the vendor database accessible on http://www.ungm.org

The EOI should specify brief relevant information about the company including the company’s profile, capacity/capability and experience. Vendors will be shortlisted based on their ability to provide the relevant documents showing that they are able to meet the requirement. Interested vendors must provide the following documents with their response:

– Copy of the registration certificate / license(s) of the company

Please note that this request for EOI is not an invitation to submit proposals/bids.

MONUSCO reserves the right in selecting the invitees for the competitive bidding based on substantial and proven records of performance in the subject field of activities and submission of an EOI would not automatically warrant receipt of the solicitation documents. MONUSCO reserves the right to reject EOIs received after the deadline indicated below.

La Mission de l’Organisation des Nations Unies pour la Stabilisation en République Démocratique du Congo (MONUSCO) sollicite des manifestations d’intérêt auprès d’entreprises dûment enregistrées et agréées pour la Prestation de services de construction de ponts modulaires à la MONUSCO à divers endroits (Beni, Bukavu, Bunia, Goma et Uvira) en République Démocratique du Congo (RDC) pour une durée initiale d’un (1) an avec possibilité de prolongation de deux ans (1+1+1).

L’entrepreneur doit exécuté tous les travaux conformément aux normes internationales applicables et comme spécifié.

Les services requis comprennent généralement :

a) Construction de sous-structures telles que des abattements, des murs en aile, des piles, des semelles, y compris l’excavation et le remblayage ;
