Provision of Origin, Forwarding Destination, Storage and related services for Household Goods and Personal Effects

The United Nations Truce Supervision Organisation (UNTSO) Procurement Unit seeks to establish non- exclusive contract with a qualified company for the provision of origin, forwarding, destination, storage and all related services for the shipment of household goods and personal effects of UNTSO personnel on a door-to-door basis.

The resulting contract shall be applicable for services worldwide and on a priority basis. Unless otherwise specified, the requirements are applicable to the outgoing shipments from Israel and Lebanon and incoming shipments to Israel and Lebanon.
Awarded contractor is expected to have a web-based shipping registaration system.

UNTSO’s shipments are approximately devided into 75% by Air and 25% by Sea. Of these consignments, 90% include packing entitelments while 10% are sent without packing.
Presently, UNTSO ships inbound and outbound from various countries, with the most frequent point of origin and destination countries such as Argentina, Australia, Austria, Belgium, Bhutan, Canada, Chile. China, Denmark, Estonia, Fiji, Finland, India, Ireland, Nepal, Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Poland, Russia, Serbia, Slovakia, Slovenia, Sweden, Switzerland, USA.

The resulting contract will be signed for a period of 2 years with two possible extensions of 1-year each.
