Provision of photography and videography services on a two year Long term arrangement ( LTA) to document UNICEF Zambia key activities

The United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) in Zambia is seeking to engage eligible and qualified institution to provide photography and videography services on a two year long term arrangement (LTA) basis.

Summary

UNICEF places a high value on strong communication products and story-telling to achieve the most impact for children and in advocating for child rights. Video/Photography plays a key role in increasing UNICEF’s visibility globally, regionally and in country offices. The Zambia Country Office (ZCO) in particular has over the last 12 months been seeking to improve the quality of external communications products, with the goal of providing donor recognition, fundraising, boosting influence, and strengthening the brand, in line with the new Strategic Plan (2018-2021). Work is also planned that can elevate the voice of children and contribute to the scaling up of successful pilot projects.

To produce quality external products that capture ZCO achievements and meets donor requirements, UNICEF is looking to establish long-term agreements with photo and video service vendors which can provide professional photojournalism/documentary coverage of UNICEF supported activities in response to additional advocacy and programmatic activities/events throughout 2019-2020.

Objectives / Target

The overall objective of setting up this Long-Term Arrangement is to facilitate and expedite the process by which UNICEF in Zambia will contract international video/photo services to document UNICEF’s work and programmes across the country.
