Provision of Printing and Production Services of UNICEF Branded Items

Item Description:

The United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) was created by the United Nations General Assembly on 11 December 1946, to provide emergency food and healthcare to children in countries that had been devastated by World War II. In 1950, UNICEF’s mandate was extended to address the long-term needs of children and women in developing countries everywhere. In 1953 it became a permanent part of the United Nations System, and the words “international” and “emergency” were dropped from the organization’s name, making it simply the United Nations Children’s Fund, retaining the original acronym, “UNICEF”.

Objective of this tender

UNICEF is inviting all interested bidders to participate to the Request for Proposals # 9151618 to: Establish an Institutional Contract(s) for Printing and Production Services of UNICEF Branded Items for the UNICEF YEMEN OUTPOSTED OFFICE IN Amman-Jordan.

To participate in this RFP, bidders are requested to provide a comprehensive technical proposal as per requirements detailed in the attached TORs (Annex B) and financial offer as per the attached price schedule (Annex C).

Moreover, an online bid conference will be held as per the below details:

• Bid Conference Date: Thursday 29th August 2019
• Bid Conference Time: 13:00 (Amman Local Time)
• Bid Conference Location: Online through Zoom Link

All interested bidders must review the RFP requirements and attached annexes to prepare their inquiries.  Please note only one representatives for each bidder will be sent the Zoom link, therefore interested bidders must send their representative contacts by Wednesday 28th of August 2019 by email to ohamdallah@unicef.org.

Finally, as per RFP instructions, all interested bidders are required to send their technical and financial offers (each in separate email) by 12th of September 2019, 15:00 hrs (Amman local time) to the following email address: yemenpmubids@unicef.org only.  PROPOSALS ARE NOT TO BE SENT TO THE INDIVIDUAL STATED ABOVE, WHERE ANY PROPOSALS SENT TO THE ABOVE-NAMED INDIVIDUAL WILL BE DISQUALIFIED.
