Item Description:
MINUSMA has a requirement for the services of one or more qualified contractors to Provide end-to-end Water and Wastewater Management Services in the Mission’s regions of operation, for a maximum period of five years.
The Contractor shall provide the following services in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions and industry best practice, including all related tools and labour:
- Borehole management and monitoring
- Water supply and demand management and storage
- Water Treatment Plants (WTPs) installation, commissioning / decommisioning, operation & maintenance services
- Water distribution network maintenance
- Fixtures general maintenance, including in all prefabricated and hardwall ablutions
- Wastewater Treatment Plants (WwTPs) installation, commissioning / decommisioning, operation & maintenance services
- Sewerage network maintenance
- Recycled water supply
- Installation and commissioning of UNOE ablutions
- Operation & maintenance of Waste Stabilization Ponds
- Laboratory services: water and wastewater quality analysis services, including inventory maintenance, calibration, sample collection, analysis, record keeping and reporting. Water and wastewater sampling and analysis shall be carried out for all locations.
All costs related to the acquisition of any consumables, equipment, material, that may be required, shall be borne by the Contractor. MINUSMA will provide all relevant spares and consumables for the Water Treatment Plans and Wastewater Treatment Plants, as well as pumps and prefab ablutions.
Services will be in 6 major regional locations in Mali as listed below:
- – LOT 1: Bamako (MINUSMA MOB, Military Camp)
- – LOT 2: Gao (Gao, Ansongo, Menaka)
- – LOT 3: Kidal (Kidal, Aguelhok)
- – LOT 4: Tessalit
- – LOT 5: Mopti (Mopti, Douentza, Diabaly)
- – LOT 6: Timbuktu (Timbuktu, Goundam, Ber)
Interested vendors may submit a solicitation for one, several or all lots.
The detailed scope of requirements will be provided within the UN’s Request for Proposal (RFP), which will be sent out to all qualified vendors responding to this EOI. No further detail can be made available prior to the issuance of the RFP solicitation.
