    Item Description:

    The United Nations Interim Force for Abyei (UNISFA), seeks suitable satellite phone service providers for the provision of satellite Mobile Phones services to support its mandated operational requirements within areas of Abyei Administrative Area, Sudan and South Sudan.

    The Service Provider should be able to provide the satellite phone sets [BGAN and Thuraya] as required by UNISFA.

    For the provision of BGAN SAT Phone Services:

    1. Service providers should have the capacity to provide UNISFA with an initial allotment of 30 postpaid. The SIM cards are to be provided at zero cost to UNISFA and should be delivered Duty Unpaid (DAP) – UNISFA Entebbe Support Base (INCOTERMS 2010).
    2. By default the SIM cards to be supplied must have Voice &Data access.

    For the provision of Thuraya SAT Mobile Services (Voice & Data)

    UNISFA seeks to engage the services of a qualified provider(s) for the provision of SIM Cellular Mobile Telephone Services in order for UNISFA to initiate and receive telephone calls/access internet via the various mobile telephone network service providers in Abyei. I. UNISFA requires 40 activated Prepaid THURAYA SIM cards for global voice calling
    II. The SIM cards are to be provided at zero cost and should be delivered to DAP- UNISFA C/O Entebbe Support Base, Uganda (INCOTERMS 2010)
    These services would form an integral part of the communications infrastructure that provide critical support to the UNISFA mission operational requirements, and must be reliable in order to handle the expected volume of calls within the mission, as well as to incorporate.

    NOTE:

    1. Submission of the EOI does not constitute an obligation by the United Nations to include your company in this specific procurement exercise, neither does it assure that a respective bidding exercise will be undertaken in due course.

    2. Vendors currently registered at basic level must proceed to submit requirements for level 1 & level 2 registration.

    To be awarded a contract, a bidder must be registered with the UN Secretariat through the United Nations Global Marketplace (UNGM)
