Rehabilitation and Construction of Sub-projects (Aqtepa Sub-project in Kunduz)

The Asian Development Bank (ADB) was conceived in the early 1960s as a financial institution that would be Asian in character and foster economic growth and cooperation in one of the poorest regions in the world.

ADB assists its members, and partners, by providing loans, technical assistance, grants, and equity investments to promote social and economic development.

The Islamic Republic of Afghanistan has received financing from the ADB and European Union (EU) towards the cost of Panj-Amu River Basin Sector Project (P-ARBP). Part of this financing will be used for payments under the contract named above. Bidding is open to Bidders from eligible source countries of ADB.

The National Procurement Authority (NPA), on behalf of National Water Affairs Regulation Authority (NWARA) (“the Employer”), invites sealed bids from eligible Bidders for the Rehabilitation and Construction of Sub-project (Aqtepa Sub-project in Kunduz) (“the Works”).

National Competitive Bidding (NCB) will be conducted in accordance with ADB’s Single- Stage: One-Envelope bidding procedure and is open to all eligible Bidders as described in the Bidding Document.
