Supply and Commissioning of Three Boats

The United Republic of Tanzania has received financing from the African Development Bank hereinafter called the Bank toward the cost of the Supply and Commissioning of Three (3) Boats for Multinational Lake Victoria Maritime Communication and Transport Project (MLVMCT) and intends to apply part of the proceeds toward payments under the contract for Supply and Commissioning of Three (3) Boat for Multinational Lake Victoria Maritime Communication and Transport Project (MLVMCT). For this contract, the Borrower shall process the payments using the Direct Payment disbursement method, as defined inthe Bank’s Disbursement Guidelines and procedures for Investment Project Financing, except for those payments, which the contract provides to be made through letter of credit.

The Tanzania Shipping Agencies Corporation now invites sealed Bids from eligible Bidders for Supply and Commissioning of Three (3) Boats for Multinational Lake Victoria Maritime Communication and Transport (MLVMCT) Project. The delivery point is Mwanza Port and the delivery shall be accomplished within a period of twelve (12) months from the date of signing the contract.

Bidding will be conducted through the Open Competitive Bidding (International), (OCBI) method as specified in the Bank’s Procurement Framework , and is open to all eligible bidders as defined in the Procurement Framework.
