Supply and Delivery of Equipment for Metal Cutting, Mechanics, Welding

The Asian Development Bank (ADB) was conceived in the early 1960s as a financial institution that would be Asian in character and foster economic growth and cooperation in one of the poorest regions in the world.

ADB assists its members, and partners, by providing loans, technical assistance, grants, and equity investments to promote social and economic development.

Invitation for Bids

The Social Republic of Vietnam has received financing from the ADB toward the cost of the Skills and Knowledge for Inclusive Economic Growth Project. Part of this financing will be used for payments under the contract package named above. Bidding is open to Bidders from eligible source countries of ADB.

The ODA- Funded Vocational Training Projects Management Unit – The Ministry of Labour, Invalids and Social Affairs (“the Purchaser”) invites sealed bids from eligible Bidders for the supply, and delivery of (i) Lot 1: Equipment for Welding; and (ii) Lot 2: Equipment for Metal Cutting, Mechanics.

Bidders may bid for one or both lots, as further defined in the Bidding Document. Bidders wishing to offer discounts in case they are awarded more than one lot will be allowed to do so.

International Competitive Bidding (ICB) will be conducted in accordance with the ADB’s Single-Stage: One-Envelope bidding procedure and is open to all eligible Bidders as described in the Bidding Document.
