Item Description:

The United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) was created by the United Nations General Assembly on 11 December 1946, to provide emergency food and healthcare to children in countries that had been devastated by World War II. In 1950, UNICEF’s mandate was extended to address the long-term needs of children and women in developing countries everywhere. In 1953 it became a permanent part of the United Nations System, and the words “international” and “emergency” were dropped from the organization’s name, making it simply the United Nations Children’s Fund, retaining the original acronym, “UNICEF”.

Invitation to Bid

The purpose of this Invitation to Bid is to invite interested bidders to submit their quotation for the provision of service as specified in the LRFP 2019-9154145.

LRFP RESPONSE FORMAT

Sealed Bids are invited for the above specified item in this bidding document, consisting of Terms of Reference, Instructions to bidders, UNICEF Standard Terms & Conditions, Specific Terms and Conditions.

The Bid must be securely sealed in the envelope, CLEARLY MARKED on the outside with the REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL Number and returned to the ABOVE address not later than 5TH December 2019 at 16:00hrs East Africa Time.

Proposal being delivered or sent by hand or COURIER should be dropped in the tender box located at UNICEF Office plot 133 Karume Road Oysterbay, Dar es Salaam, must be securely sealed in the envelope, CLEARLY MARKED on the outside with the REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL Number

Quotation document received after the stipulated date and time will be invalidated.
