Item Description:
This invitation for bids follows the General Procurement Notice (GPN) for this project that appeared in United Nations Development Business online (UNDB Online) of 8th February 2017 and on the African Development Bank’s Website (www.afdb.org).
The Government of Malawi has received a loan from the African Development Fund (ADF) in various currencies towards the cost of the Agricultural Infrastructure and Youth in Agribusiness Project (AIYAP) which is being implemented by Department of Irrigation Services under Ministry of Agriculture, Irrigation and Water Development. It is intended that part of the proceeds of this loan will be applied to eligible payments under the contract for Supply, Delivery and Installation of complete set of Cassava Processing Equipment and complete set of Rice Processing Equipment.
