Item Description:
This Specific Procurement Notice follows the General Procurement Notice published on 10th April 2015.
The Government of Sudan has received a grant from the African Development Fund to finance the Drought Resilience and Sustainable Livelihoods Program (DRSLP II & III) in the Sudan. It is intended that part of the proceeds of this grant will be applied to eligible payments under the contracts for the Supply, Installation and Commissioning of Equipment for Modern Laboratory of Biological Pest Control in Wad Madani locality.
The Federal Project Implementation Unit of the Drought Resilience and Sustainable Livelihoods Program (DRSLP-II & III) Sudan projects now invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for the Supply Installation and Commissioning of Equipment for Modern Laboratory of Biological Pest Control of Equipment for Modern Laboratory of Biological Pest Control located in Elgazera State as shown above.
Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information and inspect the bidding documents at the address given in paragraph 8 below.
A complete set of bidding documents may be purchased by interested bidders on the submission of a written application to the project office and upon payment of a non-refundable fee of SDG 2,500 (Two Thousand Five Hundred Sudanese Pound) or its equivalent in USD or Euro.
The provisions in the Instructions to Bidders and in the General Conditions of Contract are the provisions of the African Development Bank Standard Bidding Document, Procurement of Goods.
Bids must be delivered to the above office on or before 5 May 2020 at 11:00 hours Sudan Local time and the bidder shall furnish a Bid Security in the form of Bank Guarantee, Cashier’s or Certified Cheque in the amount of USD 10,000 (Ten Thousand United States Dollar) or its equivalent in SDG or Euro.
Bids will be opened in the presence of bidders’ representatives who choose to attend at time on 5 May 2020 at 11:30 hours Sudan local time at the office indicated below:
