Supply of Electrical Materials packages, Components and Accessories

SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS / INFORMATION (IF ANY)

Evaluation of companies’ capabilities and suitability to carry out the requested services will take place following the eventual submission of Technical and Financial proposals in response to the Invitation to Bid (ITB). At this later ITB stage companies are likely (at a minimum) to be expected to provide:

a) Evidence indicating their institutional capabilities as well as proof that they have been providing similar goods and services for at least 5 years.

b) Evidence of adoption of a quality process certification, e.g. ISO 9001 or any other international equivalent accreditation, valid at the time of the bid.

c) A minimum of 3 letters of reference, or certificates of completion, or similar document from third party clients for supplies of related nature and for a minimum amount of USD 200,000 each in the past 5 years from the date of submission.

d) Authorization of Official Manufacturer/Dealer to assemble/offer the MV protection cells, the MV/LV transformers, the precabled switchboards and the HVAC systems.

Acceptance of: 1. Compliance to the specified technical standards; 2. Provision of samples; 3. The stipulated delivery terms and schedule; 4. Warranty and defects liability period.

UNGM registration number if already registered as a vendor with the UN. (If not already registered, companies may still respond to the EOI but are strongly recommended to commence the registration process at the United Nations Global Marketplace website (www.ungm.org) identifying ‘UN Secretariat’ as a selected agency and seeking registration to at minimum, Basic Level. The eventual awardee will be expected to meet Level 2 registration status – for Estimated Contract Award $500,000 and above).
