Supply of Farm Equipment and Associated Services (Lots 1 to 4)

The Asian Development Bank (ADB) was conceived in the early 1960s as a financial institution that would be Asian in character and foster economic growth and cooperation in one of the poorest regions in the world.

ADB assists its members, and partners, by providing loans, technical assistance, grants, and equity investments to promote social and economic development.

The Union of the Republic of Myanmar has received financing from the Asian Development Bank (ADB) toward the cost of Climate Friendly Agribusiness Value Chains Sector Project (the “Project”), and it intends to apply part of the proceeds of this financing to payments under the contract named above. Bidding is open to Bidders from eligible source countries of ADB.

The Department of Agriculture, Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock and Irrigation (“the Purchaser”) invites sealed bids from eligible Bidders for GD03: Farm Equipment and Associated Services (Lots 1 to 4) with nature, and complexity similar to the scope of supply described in Section 6 (Schedule of Supply). The supplier shall have service centers located in Myanmar and provide written confirmation of spare parts availability for seven (7) years from date of supply.

Bids are being invited for individual contracts (lots) or for any combination of contracts (packages)

International Competitive Bidding will be conducted in accordance with ADB’s Single-Stage: One-Envelope bidding procedure and is open to all Bidders from eligible source countries as described in the Bidding Documents.
