Supply of Fuel and Related Services in Support of the African Union – United Nations Mission to Support the Hodeida Agreement (UNMHA)

The United Nations is planning to issue a solicitation and invite competitive proposals with the aim of establishing a long term contract for the provision of fuel and related services in support of UNMHA. The envisaged turnkey contract may be for 1 year with an option to further extend, at the sole discretion of the UN, for another year and will include:

• Importation (if required) and supply of Jet A-1, diesel and gasoline;
• Into-vehicle of Diesel fuel at Hodeida, Sana’a and Aden;
• Into-generator and bulk deliveries of Diesel fuel at Hodeida and Sana’a;
• Into-vehicle of Gasoline fuel at Hodeida and Sana’a;
• Into-plane of Jet A-1 fuel at Djibouti and Hodeida;
• Additional locations in the Mission’s area may be required;
• When available, the services should be provided through existing commercial services;
• Quality Assurance and Control throughout the entire supply chain, up to the final delivery;
• Operation and maintenance of fuel Distribution Points, including the management of operational stock and fuel reserves (if required);
• Deployment of the necessary personnel and resources for the provision of turnkey services to the Mission, including operational management of the Distribution Points;
• Contractor, if and when required, will be response to provide security during transit of fuel;
• Contractor to possess all required licences and authorizations to source, transport and distribute fuel at the given locations.
