Item Description:
Assisting 80 million people in around 80 countries each year, the World Food Programme (WFP) is the leading humanitarian organization fighting hunger worldwide, delivering food assistance in emergencies and working with communities to improve nutrition and build resilience.
WFP is exploring new ways to cybersecure the Organisation. To enable this change, WFP has selected a new antivirus system – Windows Defender Advanced Threat Protection – and is now looking at third-party software to be integrated with this system to cover Linux and Mac devices.
WFP is soliciting expressions of interest from qualified suppliers involved in the production and delivery of third-party antivirus systems integrated with Windows Defender ATP. Participants should meet the following criteria:
Participant’s Features:
- Be an approved reseller of the product or products being offered.
- Have specialised staff able to assist during setup, and subsequently available to support WFP in the implementation of changes.
Product specifications:
- The product must be certified for use with ATP according to the attached, official guidelines;
- Able to report events in the Windows Defender ATP Unified Console;
- Have possibilities to integrate queries in advanced hunting;
- Support all Linux and Mac current versions (and up to two previous versions, f.e. for Mac: Mojave, El Capitan and Yosemite) and have a roadmap to support future versions;
- Have a single installation package for all the supported versions of Mac;
- Have a single installation package for all the versions of Linux OS;
- The product’s cloud console must be hosted in the same tenant as the Windows Defender ATP one.
Response
In order to participate in the pre-selection exercise, companies are required to provide the following:
- Confirmation of interest in being considered for the delivery of the above items;
- Company description and brief summary of experience in the required business (max 1 page);
- Annex I duly filled with specifications of the product being proposed to WFP;
- No financial proposal is required at this stage.
Upon receipt of a positive response, WFP may proceed with the next steps to engage a vendor.
